Mr. Stephen P. D’Alessandro

Mr. D’Alessandro is an experienced entrepreneur and management consultant who set up in 1984, and still runs, the consultancy firm D’Alessandro & Associates Ltd, operating under the banner of CREDAL Business Consulting. Based in Malta, this is  now integrated in the family owned and managed CREDAL network, providing multi-disciplinary consultancy and support services to an international clientele. He is also the managing director of the ICT companies within the network, with interests in Malta, Romania and Serbia. Mr. D’Alessandro has led the company’s efforts to develop EBLearn, the company’s Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution now deployed locally and internationally.

Mr. D’Alessandro has long been involved in management training and development having developed a range of senior executive development programmes for the financial, hospitality and ICT services industries. He has been a speaker at various seminars and fora in Malta and overseas. Since 2009, he has been one of the core lecturers on the European Social Fund sponsored Advance Programme, focused on developing leaders for Change & Innovation in Tourism.

Since 1999, he has been a member of the Adjunct Faculty of the Maastricht School of Management, lecturing in primarily in Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and New Business Ventures on the international executive MBA programmes. His innovativeness and dynamism have helped him in developing his own entrepreneurial skills and in passing these on to clients and students. As of 2012, he was appointed Visiting Senior Lecturer within the Department of Marketing in the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accounting at the University of Malta, where he lectures in Marketing Simulation utilizing the internationally acclaimed Markstrat web-based software.

Mr. D’Alessandro holds a first degree in Business Management and a second degree in Marketing. He is an elected Fellow of the Malta Institute of Management, a member of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners in Malta,  a member of the UK’s Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, a member of the UK’s Chartered Institute of Marketing and a Chartered Marketer within the CIM,  and a member of the Institute of Directors in the UK.
In November 2010 the Malta Institute of Management published  ‘Board Performance Evaluation & Corporate Governance Practices’, a book authored by Mr. D’Alessandro providing a review of board evaluation and corporate governance practices in publicly listed companies in Malta in 2009.

Dr. Robert F. D’Alessandro

Dr. Robert F. D’Alessandro LLM, LLD,MSt. (Oxon).,TEP, holds law degrees from the University of Malta, the International Maritime Law Institute, and University of Oxford. He has worked with law firms in Amsterdam, Budapest and London before returning to Malta in 2000. As a specialist in trust law, he has lectured at the University of Malta and served on the Trusts Subcommittee of the Institute for Financial Services Practitioners. Robert is currently based in Malta as a Trusts Advisor at CREDALTRUST Management Ltd., with the legal and tax responsibility for Business and Personal Value management for clients. He is also a director on several companies with projects in Austria, Czech Rep., Hungary, Italy, Romania, Russia, and Slovakia, countries he has regularly visited since 1990.

Dr. D’Alessandro’s team also focuses on company and financial services compliance, Malta servicing of international business operations, with special emphasis on Anti-Money-Laundering and due diligence.
